About the Company This established early learning service caters for up to 80 children each day and is known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community. Operating Monday to Friday, the service offers four dedicated learning environments designed to support children's growth, development, and wellbeing across all age groups. The leadership team is committed to creating a positive workplace culture where every team member feels valued and supported. Nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits are viewed as an important part of the children's daily experience, making this a fantastic opportunity for a passionate cook to make a meaningful contribution. Flexible roster arrangements are available, with operating hours spanning from 7:30am to 6:00pm and transitioning to 7:00am to 6:00pm in the near future. The Role Reporting to the Centre Director, you will take ownership of the kitchen operations and play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children across the service. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and preparing nutritious, balanced meals and snacks Developing seasonal menus aligned with children's nutritional needs Managing dietary requirements, allergies, and individual meal plans Maintaining food safety, kitchen compliance, and hygiene standards Ordering and managing kitchen supplies and stock levels Ensuring the kitchen remains organised, clean, and efficiently operated Working collaboratively with educators and leadership to support the needs of the service What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate of up to $40 per hour Super, dependent on experience, qualifications, and industry background.
